Deepthi Jeevanji is set to become India’s first athlete with intellectual impairment to compete at the Paris Paralympics 2024 

Born in Telangana’s Kalleda, Deepthi faced societal prejudices and financial struggles 

Deepthi’s family, daily wage laborers, faced financial hardships that nearly derailed her training.  

Deepthi’s breakthrough came with her gold medal in the 400m T20 at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games 

Support from the Gopi-Mytrah Foundation was crucial in her journey to international success.
